DKP will be the preferred method for loot distribution throughout the guild. UwA will use a straight bid system, with points rewarded or penalized for specific deeds, actions, and raids.
Rewarding and Penalizing Points
Awarding of points is done by Raid Organizers or their designates. This person must be an officer, and have an officer level account on the www.webdkp.com website.
- 200 DKP are awarded to each new raiding guild member. If the guild member is a previous guild member who rejoined, that member will retain their previous balance if that balance is less than 200, or a negative amount. If their previous balance exceeds 200, it will be reduced to 200.
- Officers and raid organizers may award DKP for any of the following actions. Note however, they are not limited to this list and may award DKP as they see fit for any situation (understanding that abuse of the DKP system may cause internal issues).
15 Raid organizer bonus, this will only be awarded once per raid to the individual that organized and formed the raid. Awarded at the beginning of the raid. 10 Feast and repair-bot provider. This will only be awarded once per raid to any individuals that provide feasts, tables, potions, buff foods, and other amenities throughout the raid. Awarded at the end of a raid. 25 Re-spec bonus. This will be awarded at the beginning of a raid to any individual that re-specced for the raid upon a re-spec request from the raid leader. 10 Per hour while participating in the raid. This is awarded at the end of each hour. 3 Per hour while waiting on standby, ready to join the raid at last minute notice. You must speak with the raid organizer and be placed on the standby list in order to receive this reward. 1 per 3 gold donated to the guild bank. This is a DKP purchase system available for guild members and PUG’s alike. All DKP purchase must be done prior to raiding. 10 Mini Boss Drop, awarded at the drop of a mini-boss. 15 End Zone Drop, awarded at the drop of an end-zone boss. 25 Final Boss drop, awarded at the completion of the raid. - Where a position must be filled by a pug who has not raided with the guild before, and does not have any DKP history, he will be awarded a calculated amount of DKP based on the current group DKP. This goes for all pugs, and only the amount of DKP from currently tracked participants will be used. Following is the calculation.
The following example uses a 10-man Raid, however the same rules apply for any raid size.

- The opposite of being rewarded DKP is being penalized. Individuals may be penalized for the following reasons (please note this list is subject to change).
-1 per Minute, late for a raid after raid start, or after a break period time has been exceeded. -5 Unprepared for raid. -75 No Show for a raid in which you signed up for. -250 No show for a raid in which you signed up for, and the raid had to cancel because you could not be replaced. -5 to -50 Causing a raid wipe. This is variable and is completely optional and up to the raid leader. -5 to -50 Slowing down the raid, frequent requests for AFK, etc.
Purchasing and Pricing
Items are priced based on their item-value, and their equip slot. Other items such as recipes, etc will be up to the discretion of the raid leader. Many items have already had their prices calculated and are available in our Loot Tables at www.webdkp.com. This prices are starting bid prices for these items.
The order of operations – When a boss is dropped, or when an item drops the Raid Leader or Master Looter will call for an auction to begin on the current item. Auction amounts must be at least equal to the base price of the item being auctioned. Players may bid on the item by typing “!bid <amount>” in a whisper to the auctioneer, in raid, or in guild. For example “!bid 150″ would bid 150 points on an item. You will then receive a whisper confirmation back telling you whether or not you are the highest bidder.
- If you are the only person bidding on an item, you must pay a minimum of 1/2 of your initial bid.
- You may not bid more points than you have.
- Once an auction is final, you will receive the item and points will be subtracted – make sure you want the item before spending your points.
- If the item is not an upgrade, or it has been decided that you are bidding just to raise the amount someone else has to pay for the item you will be penalized for the amount of your last bid.
